
I am an applied microeconomist and assistant professor at Haile College of Business, Northern Kentucky University. Prior to joining NKU, I served as economic consultant for the USAID-funded Fiscal Reform Project in Jordan and later as assistant/associate professor of economics at SQU in Oman. My current research focuses on applied queries in labor and tourism economics, citable in reputable outlets such as the International Labour Review, the International Journal of Manpower, Applied Economics Letters, Economic Modelling, Gender and Education, the International Journal of Consumer Studies, Tourism Economics, Current Issues in Tourism, Tourism Management Perspectives and International Journal of Information Management. In addition, I serve as associate fellow at the Gulf Labour Markets, Migration and Population Programme.
